Corral Theatre Classes in Willmar, Minnesota

"Come on up to the CORRAL! Yee Haw!" The Corral Theatre in Willmar is a way for kids to become exposed in a hands on way to acting, set design, costuming, makup, and other things involved with the theatre.

How to get to the Corral: ENTER ON 4TH ST - 1st door to the left of Hope Pregnancy Center- marked THE CORRAL THEATRE CLASSES - go up the long staircase and take a left to get to the classroom.

*Been on a local school speech team for at least 2 years.

Class Description: In this class we will work together to create an amazing parade float for the Kiddie Parade and The Willmar Fest Parade. We will pick a story to base our giant masks and puppets on and put on an outdoor play at the end of our week of class for the public. Being a part of the parade is optional but it will be A LOT of fun! Don’t miss out this chance to be really creative and get your hands dirty while having a great time!

Class Description: This class works to allow students to feel more comfortable socially and strengthen their observation skills. Theatre is a wonderful way to let loose and get rid of aggravations and stresses from the day. Join this class for skill building and a lot of fun! Educators also welcome to participate to gain more activities for their classrooms.

Where the Wild Things Are

Class description: In this class, we will act out Maurice Sendak's famous children's story "Where the Wild Things Are", make masks and learn great acting warm ups and games to better our performance skills. There will be a fun final outdoor (weather permitting) performance of our short play and skills learned at the end of the week for family and friends.
